Not knowing too much on the history of mine, I do know I do have an oil cooler on it. (OEM?? I doubt it, but not sure) No fan though so it only functions when moving. Maybe I should blow through it to see if maybe it's got some plugged fins. Sure would be nice to add a fan to it, going to google that. Looked at the Jagg site and the whole setup for the fan forced cooler is $550, $420-$450 without fan. Maybe I can get lucky and be able to just get the fan and control components for the difference?

An Andrews EV13 significantly reduced my temperature due to exhaust valve timing. I know it's. to something people normally think about, but is something I read about then observed first hand on my 95 Heritage.

The weak link in this debate about engine heat is the rider, not the engine or bike! Vehicle manufacturers test extensively to verify that their new vehicles can survive every extreme we are likely to throw at them, from Arctic to desert weather. Sitting in traffic on a hot day doesn't come close to taxing the darned things!

Well that definitely eases my mind a bit.

Thanks all for the input!

Have you posted any larger photos of your ride here?

I know of two others in my area with the same paint combo with the batwing like yours. I run into them during Bikes on the Bricks held in Flint every year. You'd think the odds were slim to see this White and Champagne combo.

Johnny, your scooter still looks great. Back to the Bricks is a great event and happens the same weekend as the Woodward Dream Cruise so you can definitely get your share of nostalgia

I just don't sit in traffic. If I have to sit thru 2 red lights I find a different road.
