Default It's coming back together, but

Well after pulling the motor, and getting the frame powder coated, it's looking great. I was careful to mark wires, but maybe I missed something. All grounds are good. But when I turn the key on no lights or anything. Battery is good. When I have no continuity at the starter relay post. When I connect the starter relay to the positive on the starter, lights on. Any help would be great

I checked and it's not that. All wires coming from the key are red, and were never taken off the relay posts. weird

Sorry, I mis spoke and got it wrong. Nevermind.

Battery feeds to the starter lug, then a wire runs from the starter lug to the main breaker. The other post of the breaker has the wire from the voltage regulator and the wire running to the ignition switch. Starter relay 30 tab has the wire coming back from the ignition switch. If jumping power to this tab gives you lights, then either your main breaker or your ignition switch is bad.

Ok I'll see if I can figure out how to test if they're bad

Find your main breaker. Test it for continuity. If it's open, it's bad.

OK let me be the first to call myself an idiot. I tried so hard to make sure all wires went back just as they were. NOPE. Some of the issues were from the previous owner, and the main cause wast the main feed to the breaker directly from the battery was wrong. Sigh. Thanks so much for helping. At least I was able to use the factory manual I bought, and got real familiar with the wiring. Thanks
