Don't I know it. I'd like to have another bike sometimes, but the thought of parting with my '94 to get it is just a non-starter.

Just today, I took a 250 mile ride. The bike didn't miss a beat the whole way. It's wearing its age better than I am.

I love my '95. Its nice to own a bike knowing that not everyone has one or can go get one from the dealer. I'll have some work to do when I get home from Afghan. because she will have sat for a year but I'm sure she'll run like a champ. I paid $7800 in 2010 with ~18k. I too often thing of getting a new bike, and I might, but I'll still keep the FLSTN.

I know this is an old thread, but thought I would post my new bike. 1995 FLSTN with 20,000 miles. Real nice condition. Picked it up for $7,300, so I think I did pretty good. Can get good deals with a foot of snow on the ground, but the drawback is I have to wait a couple of months to ride. I'd probably pay $500 for some sunshine and warm weather right now....

I have a 96 FLSTN! Absolutely love it and will never get rid of her. Ya don't see many mystic green and metallic gray 'round town.

Default $$$$$$$$??????????

1999 Heritage classic. 15k miles mint and loaded. Stock evo. One lady owner asking $10k. I'm thinking $7000-8,0000? Am I in the ballpark? KBB asking dealer price is $8315 whatever that means. NADA avg. retail $8,000. What would you offer? Any words of wisdom before I negotiate?

If you are willing to pay 8, have 8 in cash and tell her 8 right now or nothing. if she says no, be willing to walk away. If you want to argue about it, show her three other bikes within 20 miles that are selling for the same. If you get it for 8, you stole it so get the hell out of there as quickly as possible.

**EDIT**
tire tread, brakes, service work, receipts for work done?, original parts incl? You can easily put a dollar amount on a tire or brakes....wouldn't be the worst thing to know who and when the work was done. There's your bargaining chips. GOOD LUCK!

I'm not sure how to tell what production number a bike is, but I know they only made 614 Nostalgia softtails in 1995.

Only the '93 models were "series numbered" in a limited edition of 2700 (if memory serves). Subsequent years ('94-'96) were "limited" too. They were "limited to how many H-D could sell."

I have no idea of production numbers for each year, but, on the whole, production numbers were much smaller than today.

I do know that my '94 was an early one, built on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 1993. It was the second '94 FLSTN that my local dealer got in.
