Amen, brother. Oil and filters are the cheapest engine life insurance you can buy !! Again, don't cheap out: you will pay for it in the long run !! Get the correct filter and ride !!

I run the up to 98 EVO filter in my 99, even though if you go to Harley's web site, it says you can use the TC filter as a retrofit back even to Shovels. And, it says the correct filter for the 99 EVO is the later TC filter. Go figure.
