Making me tense!

I installed the M6 about 10,000 miles ago. I had to take the primary apart for an unrelated problem and checked out the M6. Still looks great, including the shoe. It seemed really well made, and was an easy install. Additionally, I HAVE noticed it makes shifting smoother, eliminated a lot of the "clunk" sound, and seemed noticeable smoother-less vibration. I'm a big fan.

Use the HD automatic adjuster(spring) and have had no problems and never needs adjusting.
To make it easier to install just wash it with gasoline or some other solvent first, then use safty wire to hold it together while installing, or any wire, or save the little clip that came with the adjuster. Alternately use zip ties facing the clip up so when you install they will be out of the way and easy to cut loose.

I've used the stock setup for almost 19 years. I've never had a problem unless the shop sets the slack wrong. For some reason, they don't seem to know how to adjust my primary chain. That's why I do my own maintainance. I just check it every 5,000 milers and rarely have to adjust it unless the sho[ has been in there for some other reason, as I said.
Nice bike, by the way (nudge, nudge, wink).

Hi there, I have recently put the new M6 BT07 in my 2010 and my dad has had one in his 98 Roadking for years. LOVE IT! It's a good product and you can actually talk to someone when you call with a question. Plus it's made in America, per their website. http://www.haydensm6.com
