another stupid CV carb question

I have a problem. 1994 FLHTCU bagger, 80 Evo. I thought the oil coming out of the air cleaner was from the rocker boxes, but I disconnected the breather to the air cleaner, but it still is coming out of the air cleaner. It is reddish in color. Really confused where it is coming from, why and how to stop it.

Reversion is caused by some compression being forced back through the intake tract. There are several causes for this, Intake valves not sealing, cam timing, intake and exhaust design, or even a problem with the accelerator pump. The red you are seeing is probably the oil from the filter, either from the reversion or over oiling. Hope this helps.
