Mine is beginning to use too much oil but its just the valve stem oil seals....head off time soon and then I will leave it alone for another 75,000 miles.

 

My oil consumption varies with ambient temperature (hotter weather=more oil used). Typically, I use between a cup to a pint every 2,500 miles (75,000 miles on motor/ HD360 oil).

 

1/2 qt in 3000 miles.

 

I'm getting light smoke from the rear jug at idle after a hard run. Suspecting my seals as well. Give me something to do come winter.

Hard to say how much the bike uses as I just add when needed otherwise I change the oil.
