Default breather gear bore scratching

I am assembling my motor from freshening up the top end, anyway I pulled the breather gear out to replace it with a metal once, and it looks as if something got trapped in it and scratched the bore up, I can't catch my finger nail on them, but can slightly feel them, kinda like a record, would u guys run this or pull it down to have it bored out? Thanks chad

Not really a precision fit . I cant see how some scratches would hurt unless there were burrs that could hang it up.

Agree 100%, the breather gear is always scratched, its plastic running inside Aluminium and is not pressure-fed oil, its just sort splashes about round the moving parts.

Yep they all have scratches, yours are minimal. The plastic gear will allow metal particles to get imbeded and that leads to scratches.
