Default Been an eventful year already

Been an eventful year already.
In Texas new rear tire gets slice in side wall another new tire in Corpus.
Get home go for ride in Arkansas Wiring burned up.
Finished it up better that ever and thought go for a ride.
Left Missouri headed for Sedona.
In the middle of nowhere New Mexico. (Clines Corner) stop for gas and have a puddle of oil. So look under bike the brake line and the oil lines are sitting against each other. Guess what they rubbed and bingo hole in oil line. No shop no hose. What to do?
So I cut the line bought tire gauge took insides out stuck metal sleeve in hose zip tie hose to tube (zip ties are the new bailing wire) and made it to shop that has clamps.
So I get to Albuquerque stop get drink. Walk out and rear tire I put on 1 1/2 months ago with maybe 3000 mile on has 2 spots about 4" long and a inch wide with cord showing.
Found Indy shop. They took great care of me and didn't rob me. If ever in Albuquerque stop buy they have been there 40 years larryscustomcycle.com So never ran low on oil made it to Sedona and back to Missouri with oil line patch. Ride home 1220 mile straight through. My longest ride with out over night stop. Next project top end job.

Talking

Remind me not to accept an invitation to ride out with you chaps! I like my adventures to be a bit, well, less adventurous!

I hope this adventure topic grows, gives me an idea of any tools I may have neglected to put in the tool pouch

Won't matter. 99% of them will tell you to bring the credit card. How did motordom get this far without credit cards and wreckers?
