Default will a seat from a 96-03 fit 91-95 models?

Im thinking about replacing the seat on my bike. Im going on a ride to florida next month(about 800 miles each way) and think i could use something more comfortable. In searching for seats not many show up for the 91-95 models. Just wondering if there are ways to make seats from other years work. Also what seat would you guys recommend? thanks

I tthink a guy posted a how to thread on this recently. He had to slightly notch the backbone behind the tanks, and used nutserts in the fender. He was doing a sheetmetal/tank swap also though.

Mean City is the way to go, they are pretty busy and up to 30 day wait. Sent my '94 FLHTC seat to them this winter for memory foam and leather repair. I think it was $225 plus shipping. No regrets, so much better.

Like everything else the cost varies depending on what you have done. I would suggest telling them what you want and let them tell you what needs to be done to get hat. They are honest so they won't sell you more than you need.

I just used a newer style road king seat, and cut part of the tab off.
