In my first year I put 4k on it and that's why I haven't posted sooner. Been busy riding!

Well just wanted to chime in and say Hi.

RED is so nice!

When I started looking for my first Harley I was offered a blue 1998 FXD with about that many miles on her. Guy I knew, and he was meticulous. I didn't know what he had there.
So I bought a sporty, then a new 2003, then a 2001 WG, then I finally got my EVO, 98 WG.
Really should have just bought that blue 98 FXD, and then I could have been happy as you right out of the gate.
Hope to see ya around in these Evo threads.
More pics are always nice too.

Welcome f3fidy, I rode 1995 FLSTN many years. Great bike, I noticed smell of fuel coming from carb when parked in garage. I discovered elbow from fuel line to carb was cracked. They were part plastic on this model. I pulled carb and replaced stock elbow with updated metal elbow, problem solved.
Bike was beautiful and rode well. I ended up selling bike to cousin who rides bike daily.
I'm on a quest for 1998 "EVO" H/S Anniversary model..

Hey thanks forever 2 wheels for the tip. I'll take your advice, pull the carb and look for any cracks.
