Default Welded nut under fender

1 of the 2 welded nuts under the seat snapped when i removed the passenger grab rail. It looks like that is where the driver back rest mounts? Is there an easy like clip in solution like is available for the rear seat attachment bolt? Or do i have to pull off the tire and tack a new bolt in and hope not to burn a hole or make a bigger rust spot haha?

Something just like that but the 2 bolts down closer to the front are larger than 1/4 20 so the existing hole is prob to big for the seat screw repair kit

Get a nut and bolt larger than your seat bolt and drill and tap the bolt through the head. Put the bolt through the existing hole and tighten it. Then mount your seat through the hole you tapped. Use a stainless bolt with a low profile head and a lock nut with the nylon. This will also protect the paint on your fender.

Just out of curiosity can you simply JB weld your old nut (or one of the same size) back into place?

ya i may try jb weld but will have to pull the tire to get to it. its the 2 bolts at the base of the fender close to the battery not the seat tab bolt. so prob gotta pull tire either way just looking for easy way out haha
