If it's not warped, anyone have any tips to prevent it from leaking again once I put on a new gasket?
If it wasn't leaking before you changed the clutch then I suspect the gasket or as previously stated, torque procedures.
When you get a new gasket buy the one with the red silicone bead all the way around. I have reused these 2-3 times with no leaking. And I always apply a light layer of silicone sealant to the clean inner primary surface before I install the new gasket. Torque is very important because it's really easy to strip those threads. Fortunately, it's also easy to install a heli-coil to fix em!!
