Gosh if i didn't want to ride so bad. I would have to have that!!!! Very impressive!!! You are the man and really know these engines. I will keep in touch. On a side note where are you located? I might need a riding destination this year.

I just moved to Bluffton, SC, still deciding if I am going to open up a full time shop or just do some specialty work, engines, trannies, and restorations.

Well if I end up that way I will look you up. May be in Anderson SC early may, but I have about 400 miles on it so far, starts right up, but has a cough from the Carb right off idle intermittently. Also started it up the other morning and it was idling great, then instantly off, no stutter or stumble just off. Not sure if related, but thought I would share.

Bike is running great so far getting into the throttle a little more, and it is awesome. Need to get another 100 miles on or so and then i'll put on my dyna2000 ignition and the VOES as recommended by Miacycles. Will post final dyno results when i'm complete.

Remember most aftermarket exhaust try to set up for the most common engine combinations out there. Usually this is an 80" engine and you are putting 50% more through it. Does this light a light bulb for you??? A good 2-2 exhaust set up for a 96"+ engine should make a difference in torque which is overall more important than HP.

I have currently 2into1 supertrapp. Which I know supports 96, but it does get hotter than my 80in.

Default Update

So I dropped a valve seat in the rear head and have the heads off now. So far i have changed the gearing like miacycles recommended and now that the heads are off i'm planning on changing exhaust and some head work. What would you recommend?

Default quick update

Ok head physically looks fine, yet I lost compression in the rear cylinder and it was making some horrible noises that sounded like rear head. So far everything in the head looks fine. Later I will be pulling the cylinders and lifters, and if still nothing obvious the cam. Otherwise i'm out of ideas.

Also John Sachs didn't seem like he wanted to do the head work when I emailed him.
