Confuse me? Crap. I'm always confused!

Thanks to all for the help!

And for those of you who assumed it wouldn't work......

You can install a longer collar on the mainshaft to move the front drive pulley out but you will have to shim the pulley on the rear wheel to keep the belt in line...What size rear tire do you have installed?

My HD shop pissed me off, so I'm thinking of doing the work myself if you guys can give me some guidance.

Is this a big deal? Do you have any tips to make the job easier?

The width of the tire is 140. It needed to be 130.

I installed a 3/16" thick spacer and the problem is gone.

The belt centered itself on the front pulley nicely.

Thanks, but, I thought it was a "torch"..................

By the way, today, She goes back together. I'd cruising down the road later if I had the tank back from the painter!
