I still like the guy who said he was afraid of the beads because if his front tire blew out, they would cause the rear tire to get squirrely and cause him to crash.
They work great on the bike or pickup ... 2oz in front and rear on the bike and i think 5-6oz in my pickup tires ... super happy with them ... been using for over 5 years now

Not to worry, if your front tire "blows out" bad enough at speed for the beads to come out you are going to crash any way.
Many of the custom wheel outfits that sell custom tire/wheel combo's use the beads instead of external weights.
I ran them in my last bike. Bike was hardtailed with an avon speedmaster 21 x 3 front and firestone 18x4.5 rear. Obviously tubed tires and they worked great. I put about 11,000 miles on that way. Hope that helps!
