i didn't get a horn with the bike when I started it so I don't know how loud the 87 horn was to compare it to. It seems pretty loud for a stock horn though. I am using a pingel petcock and have no room issues, It looks like it would fit fine with a stock petcock as well. I am very happy with it as it doesn't look like everyones elses horn. Mounting was just a small L shaped bracket that I made but bent at about a 120 degree angle instead of 90 if i remember right. Hope this helps. sorry for the slow responce

thanks to member Bama91 hooking me up with some needed clutch parts my bike is finaly on the rode. and without a slipping clutch. Now I can work on some of the other things that need done to finish this up. like the leaking rear rocker box. Thanks Bama91
BTW I think my bike actaully got a name this weekend (EL Loco)
