Default New 98 Fatboy, ridden home today

Well, I rode my "new" 1998 Fatboy evo home today. icked it up 40k (25 miles) away took me 31/2 hours to get home! I passed my road 4 times before I went up it, I just didn't want to stop. Weather toady sucks here, 7 degrees celsius (47F or 48F), raining and a little windy. BUT, I just had to keep riding, I had almost forgotten how great the evo pulls, responds and sounds. What an amazing machine. I love my 01 Ultra Classic, but I LOVE the "new" fatty! Thankfully with a snowmobile suit I can ride right up until the first sand/salt drop, hey maybe we'll get lucky and it won't snow this year.

Thanks, I find that insulated coveralls and a parka keep me pretty warm behind the batwing.

Let's see Ontario Canada, won't snow--Hmm I'll take that bet. Enjoy riding it while you can, then spend the snowy months pampering it and making it "your's"!!!!

Yeah, I guess the chances are pretty slim for a snow free winter here, ( make that impossible )
Guess I'll have a few months to make it mine, I dunno but I'm thinking maybe a springer front end would look pretty cool.

Hey Bikerlaw, thanks', pretty nice looking bike you have there too. I really like the chromed springer. I'm thinking that may be the way to go on the fatty, not sure yet though.
