Electrics Problem.

Electrics problem... Sorted!
Got my Battery checked today after charging to find out if the Battery was holding charge,or faulty in any way. Battery in great condition.
Decided then to check out the output level from the Rotor (with Meter)as per H.D Workshop Manual. I was starting to remove the orange? colored rubber Rotor "plug" from the Crancase when I found that the "plug" was not seated properly.
I pressed "plug" home, fired bike up, and lo & behold.....14v Charge and everything inc. passing lights working!
One thing I have learned from this is....Start at the beginning with Elec/Fault problems
ie. Is Battery in A1 condition?, if so then follow the checking procedure methodically,as per Harley Manual. This way you are not tempted to jump about the electrical system checking this & that and getting frustrated at the same time.
I hope this info.may be of help to newbies like myself and I would like to thank all you guys who gave me help & advice.
Happy riding,Bungo.
