We like to clean up the left side of the bike by moving to the rear of the air cleaner. S&S carbs and others have the choke/enrichner on the right side. All of the Ultima engines have the choke mounted on the right side behind the air cleaner as well. The choke cable is more than long and flexible enough to do this.

I have 1988 FLHT with CV carb. Look at the bracket, maybe You`ll get some ideas.

Not an evo, but a shovel with CV. Some of us this type of mount for our enrichener/choke switch. should work on an EVO and provides a tight little package.

Been on my list of things to do to my gf's Sportster for a while now. Big, nasty, black bracket on the left side of the motor with no purpose other than to hold the "choke" ****. In my opinion, the engine isn't warm enough to be riding it if it can't run without the enricher engaged. Therefore, who cares if you need to operate it with the same hand as the throttle. And we won't even go into the distortion created in the cylinders during heat cycling from bolting a piece of steel between them.

Well the mount I have basically attached the enrichener cable to bottom of the CV (a little bracket that attaches to the accelerator pump screws). Works like a champ and does not get in the way of anything, plus no cable to run between the cylinders and no cable to disconnect when you need to pull the carb.
