so which ones are good. what do you guys run?



sintered

harley oem

other aftermarket ones. which ones should I get. links would be great.

I have a 1990 softail

contact EBC and tell them what you have for rotors and what type of rider you are. They can help you.

I bought mine off Ebay. I believe they were the sintered type. I think I paid $45 for all three sets. There's a retainer clip on the front brakes that should be replaced now that they're 21 years old. The tend to get sloppy fitting.,,

Most are going to tell you to get the Lyndall pads. I've used them and they are decent. Less dust than the stock pads but I didn't feel they stopped much better. I'm now partial to the EBC HH pads. I felt they had noticeably better braking than stock, no squeal, and zero dust. They are also less expensive than Lyndall pads.

Ferodo is the best Ive ever done with a stock rotor.

EBC are ok. They don’t last long. Ferodo are very good but availability can be a problem. Vesrah are my favorite. Again, availability is an issue.

Sintered EBC HH. Just watch getting on the rear brake to hard cause they will lock it down very easy.

OEM pads. What are you trying to accomplish? What problems are you having, if any?

I've got Lyndalls. They work well and compared to the stockers that were on there before, they are dust-free.
