Default CV carb jet needle question.

Hi!

Last winter I bought second-hand CV carb for my Evo. It was equipped with a sort of "solid" jet needle. The one without notches. The marking on it says "N86". I don`t know what bike this carb came off, was it Sporty, EVO BT or whatever else. So, my question is - Is this needle suitable for a stock EVO, FLHTC?

I`d like to install it and check how it runs, but is it worth trying?

The needle looks like one of those:

Ok. I`ll try this. Throttle response on my Evo is not impressive, that`s why I asked about needle. I want to look closer at the carb and tune it properly.
I will get one of those needles.

There should be a letter on the end of "N86" but regardless, and assuming it was the original needle, it came off a '92 or later machine. The CV was the same for Sportsters and Big Twins after about 1990 with the only differences being jetting and needle sizes.
