Default Brain fart, Question time!

Installing a Torrington cam bearing tonight. Does the flat side seat in the back & the rounded side face the cam??
Did Harley put Torrington's in at the factory in 1988 on the 80 CI Evo's??
Thanks!
Hatch.

All Evos came with a Torrington bearing until 1992. That's when they changed to the INA bearing.

That's good to know! When I pulled mine out, I was expecting the crappy one. Got the new one in & now I wait for my cam & lifters to show up.

Upgrade the breather while you're in there.

FYI, all needle bearings that need to be pressed in have to be pressed from the flat side. Please don't ask me how I found this out.
