flooded
well i tried to start my bike awhile back. gave it a couple twist of the throttle, enrichment pulled up, nothing. couple more twist of the throttle, still nothing. pulled the plugs = dry. air cleaner off, put hand over the carb to choke, nothing, checked the plugs = still dry. can see gas squirt in carb. good spark, finally left plugs out and bike sit for 5 or 10 minutes, plugs back i and fired right up. first time ive ever seen a motor flooded and not show up on the plugs, any thoughts.

I think it wasn't flooded yet, just needed another twist and a slight throttle opening....that right little place and it will start. Every carb motor (usually with 1-2 cylinders) has it's own little procedude to start (depending on weather/other conditions), like my chain saw, weed eater, lawn mowers, race bikes, etc. Once you learn that little trick it will start. My riding lawn mower's motor will not start until I pour gas into the carb, a bunch. You would think it would be flooded, but loves it! No two are a like!
my 2 cents.

On the bike it's choke on then half twist on throttle while it's cranking and BAM it catches.
