evo jug question
im rebuikding a evo motor. if the info i was told is right i have a 88 bottom end and a 94 top end. one of the jugs lost it wrist pin clip and damaged the cylinder wall pretty bad. looking on ebay to try and get a cheap used jug and piston since it look like a fair amount of people are getting the big bore kit which im not interested in doing. but getting confused by part numbers. the casting number on both jugs is 16584-83a
question is does it matter what jugs i use or do i have to stick with that same casting number?

My buddy got them from J&P Cycles but I'm also seen them at Heritage cycles here in canada http://www.heritagecycleworks.com/Pr...=4&SubMenu=751
