BB4XL, No!
Thanks for asking.
Knee locked-up 11-09, dislodged during the nite; doc on 10th w/x-rays; MRI on 22nd and haven't heard a word as of today! Glad I'm not still locked-up! It's a old "comp injury" (lifetime medical), they don't get in a hurry. This time it feels better, like it fixed on it's own or something. Got me wondering about messing with it.
I get around and have no pain, however after years of this I know it can can lock-up when you least expect it.

Hey K-dude, Did you put that two piece Mustang seat on? Like the Soft-tails have, that can be solo w/attached nice passenger (75566/75567)?

I wanted the detach too, but I like it hard mounted now and saved a lot of bucks too!

thanks HM, i'm going to look into this for sure. i didn't get the solo set up that you mentioned. i looked at it and it seemed more bulky than i wanted. i found this one that isn't too bad. i just change the whole seat to go solo, i really like the tan solo that came with it.

just a follow up on the old thread. I also have a 91' Electra Glide with Quick detachable tour pac. Did you ever find a solution?
I would love to find direct fit without having to stack washers etc. Any luck with one that is made for a newer model?

There's your answer.

I have a vivid black / red pinstripes tourpack from my 89 FLHS that I will never use, one of the latches has issues. It is complete with all brackets and passenger padding. I'll let it walk for $300 if you wanna go that route.

Where are you located? I miss not having a TP on the back of my bike.
