were do i find handle bar clamp bolts?
got new bars. want to freshin up the rusty bolts on the handlebar clamp. i have a 1990 softail..
can someone link m e to a site that sell handle bar clamp bolts in chrome or stainless please

Usually allen bolts Most good hardware stores have them If you can't find them give us a length and thread NC or NF

any neighborhood hardware stores have bolts. ace, truevalue, home depot, etc.

I replaced mine with stainless ones from home depot. Take one with you, and match it up.

got some offline. i went to home depot and there selection was horrible. nothing that matched up.

Our local ACE Hardware store has both Chrome and polished stainless.

I would not use the junk fasteners sold at Home Depot to hold any critical parts.
Your life depends on these bolts, this is not the place to use cheap Chinese stainless bolts. Spend a couple of bucks and get the right stuff. They are probably grade 5 steel bolts.

At least Grade 5; I would go with Grade 8 s.s..
