Well, one thing for sure, Amsoil did not keep it from happening. Maybe it would have happened sooner with dino. Who knows. I just changed out the cam brg. in my EVO at 27,000, and it still looked perfect. Nothing but Castrol GTX 20-50 dino used since new.

Amsoil makes a dino also. That was a Twinkie cam, more than likely the pump got some crud through it and it failed to supply enough oil to correctly lubricate the cam.
