Absolutely love my '85 FXR..and for years I was a dyed-in-the wool shovelhead FX rider. I still love 'em, but the Evo/FXR combo is a whole 'nother thing entirely.

How do you like the nightrain compared to your FXR?

I like both bikes around the same,although very different in styles,i think a lot of the time i had the FXR i hankered after a softail, as you can see by the front end of the FXR, and eventually i got one,an 06 model last of the 88s.

Love my lowrider, does everything I ask right when I ask. wish I could get my ol lady to do that.

DAMN! That's one beautiful bike! The blue is supposed to be the rarest and most highly sought after. I saw a green one with the flames (slightly less sought after... 700 made, they said) at the Ride to Remember here on Sept 12, and they were actually interested in selling it. If I'd had the money I would have bought it on the spot!

1991 FXR I did a wide glide conversion and other mods.. this baby rides nice and comfortable! More kicked back on seating and comfort then the softtail to me and my brother that owns 2 softtails!
