I have not done this yet so no pictures but have been considering doing the same thing when I get a chance.Cycle Visions makes a pulley spacer to mount a later model 1-1/8 pulley to your older style wheel.

Not quite the same thing, granted, but I have a 150/80 tyre in the rear of my 1990 Glide, using a narrow 1 1/8" belt. I also have a later wheel, so didn't need a spacer, but there is plenty of belt to tyre clearance and a 160 would probably go in. On my bike the rear fender is full with my 150 tyre, so check fender width before deciding on a 160.
