That is one of the setups I have for my 85 FXWG. Mine is the Vintage solo and removeable passenger pad (although mine does not have the optional studs and conchos) designed for the 84-earlier shovels. cut the forks off the front nose of the seat pan and bolt in on using the well nuts in the frame. I did the same with the Cobra solo and thinner passenger pad. The gunfighter is made to fit the 85-86, and has good rider back support, but the tapered rear section would suck for a passenger.

And that's the truth!
BH is comfortable on the front - on the back, I'm good for awhile (longer now than at first). Even the advertising for the gunfighter says that it's good for "short passenger trips". They ain't lyin'!!!
I do love the way the seat looks on the bike.

check out mean city cycles they will customize your stk seat. anyway you want it. lower,higher,back foward ck out their web site.
