just wondering if anyone knows what gas tanks off what other models will fit my 1990 fxstc. I am repainting all the tins but want to keep the original tank. What i really want is a bare tank with no dash or anything. Thanks for the help. I looked on ebay and everywhere else but its hard to generalise if a tank will fit or not.

 

84-99 will fit...if you want a smooth tank with no dash you will have to go aftermarket or modify stock tanks...there are a ton on Ebay and I am sure this is not the cheapest.

thanks. I have looked at those, but the years that would work is what I was looking for. Is there somewhere a guy can look to see what specific parts of what model will fit other models etc? For example the 84 - 99 gas tank fits those year models, how about say fenders or front ends? I am also wanting to maybe swap the springer front end off my 96 softail and put it on my 90 custom. Im in fire camp right now or I would look for myself! thanks
