Just put 412's on my 90 fxrs-sp, sooooo much better than stock. Run them at the softest setting even with the wife on the back. I weigh 180, the better half 120, can't imagine how stiff the heavy duty shocks are. They may not be the best, but when you're on a budget and want something better, not a bad deal.
