There's also a sticky at the top of the Evo Section about adding a second relay to cure the Click O' Death. Should solve your issues.

Your gonna have to add a relay.
See the sticky at the top of the page about adding a relay.

A second relay won`t help on this model bike.

The starter relay on this model bike already gets its power directly from a breaker.

Goofed...See correction in post 53.

My suggestion is for the guy to stop troubleshooting by buying electrical parts.

Charge the battery and have it load tested.

Remove the end cover from the starter solenoid and inspect the electrical contacts.

Great advice Dan but I think he may have left the building....

and the problem was the bendix drive was broken its a 1990 bike ( first design starter ) with a big motor w/ compression before they had hi out put starters <in 2010 the units were not like we have now
