I replaced the front motor mount, and aligned the frame.
Hit the starter to go for a ride and I thought the primary chain had come
loose, it sounds like a broken link on the chain slaping the case "loud".
I drained the oil (no metal on the plug) and pulled the case thinking the
adjuster had come loose.
The chain , adjuster and clutch looks new, and is clean.
I started it with the cover off and can't see anything at all, it makes the
noise with the clutch in or out and in or out of gear, but when I rev just past idle it seems to go away.
The comp nut seemed tight but I don't have the wedge tool to torque it.
I remember reading an old thread showing pictures of the wedge made
I think from a cutting board , but I can't find it.
Any Ideas?
