Default coil and wire question

Thanks in advance for the advice...

I currently have an excel coil and 8.8mm wires on my '97 heritage FLSTC. These were on it when I bought the bike. If I changed the wires, and or coil, does that require any timeing or carb work?

Thanks

No. Coil and plug wires are after the signal. If you were to mess around in the nose cone, then you would have to adjust timing. Carb adjustment are not required either (provided it was correct to start).
