what was the last year for the Evo ?

It's also quite possible that more than a few people don't know what they're talking about....
As previously mentioned,.....
"Check the 10th digit of your VIN; a 1999 will be a "X" and a 2000 will have a "Y". "

fxr4
It is a 2000 fxr4. Mine is the yellow, and has about 1,800 miles on it. Now before you start thinking that I don't ride enough, I have 14,000 miles on a 2009 flhtc I bought in september of 09. A few thousand miles on a softail, and am just begining to put some miles on the fxr4. Don and Pam

In all honesty, don't know for sure!!!

Yes, the Twin Cam was in the Touring models and the EVO was in the Softail in 1999. The FXR was dropped in 1994 but there were some CVO in the following years; FXR2 and FXR3 1999, FXR4 2000. I think that Harley was getting rid of extra inventory and made some CVO FXRs with the EVO to do so.

fxr4
So I guess my fxr4 is made up of left over parts. Probably rejected parts that they retrieved from the scrap bin. Guess I'd better sell it. Lets see, scrap is going for about .08 cents a pound, and the bike weighs about 600 pounds, so that would make it worth about $48. Oh heck, I'd better keep it. Wouldn't want to cheat anyone out of their hard earned money. Don and Pam
