Default dynabeads

just have to give a plug for dynabeads. had another post going about changing my front 21" wire spoked tire. did it but still had a minor vibration, well i thought maybe my front wheel needed to be trued, jacked it up and removed the caliper, when i did the wheel slowly swung down like a pendulum. looks like a job for dynabeads. what a pain, i think i got them stuck in the valve stem 2 or 3 times, they really need to emphasize that you should have some kind of tool that will vibrate the stem so they go in easier, anyway took it out for another ride and what a difference, smooth as glass, it was more than i really expected. i swear by the stuff now.

Glad to have a reference, HotRod. I've read about these, and I think I will put them in Bertha's tires. I used to have an old Ford van, and it had little discs mounted between the wheels and hub that had a tube around them with beads in it like like that. Same principle - the beads automagically orient themselves when the wheels are turning for perfect balance all the time. Sure beats having those ugly lead weights clamped to your wheels, and always adjusts dynamically as your tires wear!

thats the added point. my old, well about 5 years old, tire was vibrating, and it was weather cracked, so i figure it needed to be rebalanced again, replaced it anyways, but with these beads it will always be balanced, even after it wears.

I think i might try some, ive used equal in truck tires with good results, but there motorcycle kit is crazy expensive, but this seems like a viable alternitive.
