legacycycles,

great looking ride. please tell me how you mounted 93+ bags on the bike. I know the oil tank and battery are behind the rt bag on 92- models or did you move the battery? did you build the bag or convert the old bag ? would really like the newer bags on my 90 flhtc.

later...........

Its not a job for the faint of heart....The bags were a bit of a job,First i got the newer side covers,Then you have to cut a hole in the right side for the dipstick. Also had to weld a nut for the left side,so it could bolt on,and you have to use some spacers on the right side. You can reuse the left side cover but the newer one looks better...Cut off the battery box but try not to destroy the lower rail...Or you can buy the lower rails for the newer models and weld a tab for them to bolt to...Next you will have to weld and fab a battery box.It will go under the seat just like the all the flh's.You will also have to trim the rear fender a bit where the battery will go.Then cut off the tabs for the bag mounts on the front, then buy the mounts for the 93-up bags, bolt em to place and you ready to go.Thats pretty much it.
