Love the camaraderie of this forum because I can bare my aliments and confess any mechanical wrong.

In Life I want there to be no peace and quiet for those “other” riders. NEVER let them see Harley bleed, never hint at any mechanical failure. Hide any untidiness. Don’t give them the satisfaction of seeing a leak or any problem. Let them try to sleep at night Gnashing their teeth and mumbling and cursing not understanding how a Harley is full proof. They expect, for it to be that beautiful, that classy.. it simply MUST leak and break down all the time. Let them try to build their confidence going to their own forums where everyone makes fun of Harley.. only to return to reality and see a gorgeous Harley blast past them without a hitch. Let them not understand and keep them confused.

No.. I say spread hate and discontent until they either embrace or go buy mini vans.

Jack Handy had his thoughts… I have mine.

Stopping by to say hi. On September 9 I have a consultation with a surgeon. I am really hoping he can help me.

I think if I can get the surgery to fix this hole in my abdomen that can turn things around for me.

I have abdominal surgery scheduled for September 17. The surgeon said it will be difficult, very complicated, and high risk.

G'day Fellas.
Another Touring Club ride in two weeks so as the HD rear brake had been a bit iffy the last two rides (fresh dot 5 a month ago) I've ordered the kits for master & caliper. Last night I removed the caliper, the two bolts took a bit to remove and pushing the piston back was a real chore. Once the caliper was out getting the piston was the next task. Compressed air was a waist of time so I made a tool, a 3/8" UNF bolt, hole up the guts and a 1/4" UNF thread in end to take a grease nipple. Pumped it up and the piston gave up, no damage to it. The kit should be here today so tonight is the masters turn. Lucky I picked now to do the job. One pad had just started to rub on the disc and the other was *** paper thin.
Cheers

G'day Fellas.
Why is Dot 5 so hard to get? I just had to drive 3 hours to get 1 X 365ml bottle at a cost of $65AU so it cost me over $100AU with fuel! I need it NOW.
Cheers

12 ounces which is 354ml is $13 here in the USA
