First ride after complete rebuild. Clutch was dragging slightly. Maybe too much fluid in primary because I’m sure I have the clutch adjustment correct. 50mi oil change done. Have another 300 breakin miles done heading for 450 then second oil change. Overall no leaks and happy. 1991 FLHTC with S&S V96.

Oh, plus that spherical bearing kit (V-Twin) coupled with harder front engine mount (Drag Specialties) makes the bike solid. No hint at all of it wanting to wobble.

G'day Fellas.
Been very quiet on the Evo front for me. I've been making trophy's for my clubs bike show most evenings. Now their finished I can turn my attention to the pesky primary leak on the Evo and rebuild of the 51 BSA motor.
The primary leak is from the lower most screw hole. The previous owner must have stripped the thread and helicoiled it but not square. I'll pull it out and hope there's enough room for a Timesert.
Cheers

Those look really cool! Well done!

How are you fastening the parts to the backs? Adhesive? Screws?

LOL! NEVER!

(Well, not "never" on the Dyna...I actually am looking for one. But "never" on the TwinCam. That bike's a 2009. The Dyna I end up with will, naturally, be Evo powered!! )

That's not my bike. My contribution to that is that I made the derby cover. Been working on that project for a while. Finally got most of the details sorted.

But HDForums gets twitchy if you talk about stuff like that, so I can't say much more here.

G'day Omaha.
Mostly screws or bolts. The Ladies trophy is two piston tops held on with acorn/dome nuts LOL.
Cheers

Oops! Guilty as charged.

Sorry about that chaps. Still alive and kicking, although not tyres at present. My health problems came to light not so very long after the 'Worldwide pox' hit us all, by which time I had started servicing my Buell, which remains unroadworthy as I write. While I can stoop down and briefly touch the floor, I can't actually get down there and do anything useful - just tying my shoe laces is a real chore. In theory I could spend much more time on HDF, but it isn't working out like that at present. I promise to try to pop in more often!

On the two-wheeled front, I have a Brompton folding bicycle (well two in fact) and recently bought an electric conversion kit for it. See - so I am sort of keeping fit! Pics when Brompton is road-worthy! Hopefully a little light mechanical work will help me get back in harness with our other bikes.

Glad to hear from you Mr. Brown! I hope you are well enough to be on 2 wheels soon.
