Merry Christmas Evo Land!

I am kind of surprised no one posted before me.

Here is hoping Mr. Brown and his Mrs. are safe, healthy, and happy.

G'day Fellas, Merry Xmas & Happy New Year.
Been very quiet on my Evo. With holiday traffic, bloody rain and kids on pushbikes I haven't left the shed in a week. Have to remedy that today.
I'm staying up on NYE, not to see the new one in but to make sure 2020 phu(ks off!!! 1st anniversary of the bush fire that destroyed everything I owned!
Cheers

While I was at work Saturday night I got that old familiar feeling. Left kidney started hurting and got progressively worse through the night. Yay, another kidney stone! I took some dual action Advil which helped a little but not that much.

Determined to keep up my reputation as being tougher than leather, I took the outrageous action of jumping up and down in an effort to cause it to move and maybe not be so painful. Surprisingly it worked.

When I got home Sunday morning I took some leftover pain pills from an eye infection I just got done with from the previous week. I read up on it and it said it is frequently prescribed for kidney stone pain. It took care of the pain but also knocked me out.

I returned to work Sunday night feeling fine but later in the night it came back. I took some more of the dual action Advil high seemed to be more effective this time. When I got off Monday morning I called my urologist’s office and was able to get an appointment Wednesday in the early afternoon. Ultrasound, xrays, then doctor visit.

The upside? My urologist is a gorgeous slim blonde who stands about 6’ 1” and is my age.

2020 is not quite over. Anything could happen.

What is next? Alien invasion?

G'day Prot.
I feel your pain. Had them a few times. **** the colour of Santa's suit. They recon the closest we come to child birth pain. Had my big ones ultrasonically destroyed (**** sand for a few days) and pissed out a few the size of two match heads. A mix of tramal, endone and oxycontin worked for me!!!
Cheers

Have I ever told the story about the guy I worked with years ago in Utah and the kidney stones?

He was out riding on his Yamaha (whatever their big touring model was back when) when he lost it. Went down hard.

Mostly came out of it intact, but the impact had the effect of knocking loose a bunch of kidney stones he never knew he had. Poor guy suffered mightily for weeks as they slowly passed, one by one.

Don't envy you, Prot. Those things are murder.

Is it bad that I want to stop counting them because I have been through this so many times, with each time being different?

The last set were three at once that came and went before I could get to the doctor in 2018. I’ll spare the details, but they got stuck, and something like squeezing a tube of toothpaste is what was involved with me getting them out.

Feeling fine today

Went the appointment

Mo blood in the urine. Nothing on X-ray. Nothing on the ultrasound. The girl doing my ultra sound also put it a little lower to have a look at my prostate. After a while she asked if I had it removed. I told her no. I guess she was having trouble seeing it finding it.

The doctor said she can’t find anything but if starts hurting again to go back. Scheduled another appointment twelve months from now which will include a prostate exam since I will be 50 in a couple of weeks.
