Question 97 Road King Electrics

I am having some electrical issues. There are some danging wires, a few connectors that do not connect to anything, and the darn thing will not start. Just wondering if anyone knows of anyone who has posted pics of their electrics for me to compare?

Yea John! I have been following this thread from the beginning and saw that. I thought of this thread last night when we were over there and I had my camera on my side so I took the pic to show Graham what it looks like.

Hope all is well with you!

Mike

Hey, Canadian from the other side,
there is a plug that hangs down above the front cylinder on mine. It is for diagnostics, I believe.
How old is your battery? Just had to change mine. Started great sometimes, and not at all other times.
Check your connections and terminals.
Best wishes on that issue.

Where is that Red Velvet cake recipe available? My wife used to eat it when she lived in Atlanta, Ga, but doesn't have the recipe.

If John don't get ya a recipe Dale, I can get ya one from my daughter-in-law. I tried to upload a piece of that cake into "cakebucket" for ya, but I had technical difficulties. It kept getting fragmented.

Schwangster,
This thread, page 17 post number 660 is the Red Velvet Cake Recipe. We "stole" it from Miss Mary Bobo's in Lynchburgh, TN. Enjoy, it makes a great cake.

Rerouted it and zip tied it out of the way. She starts and runs great.

Hope all fixes are this easy.
Well now, Dale... can't really blame the MoCo for your electric vest wire shorting out! I'm just glad I live down here, where electric vests are only used to execute prisoners!

We have a closet cakeman here! That is a remarkable thing, P.

All this talk of cake is doing my head in....
Graham - Might I suggest that you consider renaming this thread Piece of Cake with an Evo...
