Peace and Quiet with an Evo!

The short answer is Yes! I've currently got bits of Buttercup spread around the kitchen, sorting out a mini project on that. In some ways I regret starting on my current Hyacinth project, as I am getting it in the neck from several quarters! I've taken time out for a while, so obviously need to get back in harness asap. First task is to keep our two solos in road-worthy condition, since Mrs B has found a fresh interest in riding the Sporty.

When I was younger I got a whole bike inside the house, disassembled and scattered around various rooms! Rebuilt it in the kitchen using the oven to refit crankcase bearings etc. Happy days! In current times other 'stuff' interrupts progress, not least keeping our two solos roadworthy. Nothing as complex as the rebuild of Hyacinth, but once Buttercup is complete once more I hope the momentum can be carried over from the yellow to the blue side of the garage.

It's OK to have a Twinky only if you have an Evo too.
What year is that, FI?
Got some cams and exhaust coming for my Twink, I'm liking the DD7 Santa brought me.(Black friday sale)

Tman,
You can never go wrong with a Heritage regardless of year.
Gbrown,
I'd love to see some pictures of that Sportster. Most people here know I used to ride a Sportster in Yokosuka, Japan in the early 90's. I probably learned more and did more to that bike than any other bike I rode or owned.

Haven't had a car in the garage for a couple years, but this winter is shaping up nasty, decided to try and get it covered, I get tired of cleaning all the snow and ice off every time I want to use it (twice this month already!). Took a lot of labor and several trips with bike stuff down the basement stairs, but now there's a van, 2 Ural sidecar rigs, and 2 sportsters in the garage. That left a Honda 250 Nighthawk left over, and since the Tour Glide is in the former dining room, I now have a Honda in the living room. Would've preferred putting a sportster in there, but took all I had to carry the Nighthawk up the 2 stairs into the house, I'm long past being able to do that with a 560 lb motorcycle. So the bikes in house saga has another chapter.
Getting a load of fresh snow tonight, I wonder if the Ural will start tomorrow... supposed to be a low around -25F.

I already do. Ride it everyday.
Just the FLSTC and the DL1k. Trying to sell the DL1k since I can ride all the same gravel roads on the heritage.
If I do anything older again it will be a shovelhead FXR. I never REALLY wanted a dyna anyways. I hate the dyna frame. It's a 2014, so FI. I'm going to do cams and heads/cylinders soon, but exhaust and intake are coming shortly.
Indeed. The only softails I ever liked.
