I damn near broad sided a van this morning. I stopped with only half an inch to spare.

Kept the bike up and didn't hit the van, but my muscles and joints hurt a lot from all the straining I did. I still have smell of burnt rubber in my nose.

I never appreciated how good I can ride as much as I did this morning. It is kind of long and drawn out on what happened, but essentially a van that was stopped decided to change lanes to go around traffic. The lane he changed to is the lane I was in.

I am having a lot of chest pain in particular tonight.

I know what you mean Prot. Monday afternoon on the Expressway a young lady in a Audi decided to change lanes before even looking.... In instances like that you really don't have as much time to think so looking for the horn kinda takes a little thought because of the added pressure of maneuvering away from the *******..... That's why I like the loud pipes. Instinctively I can pop the throttle and I really does make a difference.

Better to be sore and right side up....

I took cyclobenzaprine and meloxicam yesterday and today and it is helping with the soreness. I need to feel good because on a Friday I am riding to Biloxi Mississippi to see Styx. I have a nice room at the Double Tree nearby booked.

I don't know what cyclobenzaprine is, but it sounds strong.

Sadly, Big Red's been ignored for the last few days. If it isn't raining, it's been cold. Plus, I just started a big remodel project that's going to be taking up most of my time for the next few months.

It's off to a good start, but I could use more helpers.

Not one of your better photo shop jobs but if she was helping me remodel something it would take a long time to finish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like she was admiring the wood.

Feeling good today and did some riding. I will be able to make trip easily.

For those that are curious.

I keep both of these medications with me at all times. I used to take them often, but since I started seeing the massage therapist, I hardly ever take them.

They are some heavy duty prescription drugs. The aches and pains I often mention are not the usual things that come with age.

Really looking forward to tomorrow, the ride, the concert, the hotel, the beach. Last concert I went to, a dozen women wanted to come back to the hotel with me, three of them together at the same time. Good thing I am not running for president.

Headed out this morning. Since it is only an overnight stay, I went with my backpack and overnight bag. This system works well and I didn't have to use bungee cords.

That reminds me I need to replace a small barrel bag I used for years.
Coming back from the EVO meet and staying with friends in Santa Anna the zipper came apart.

I really had the bags stuffed for the ride home
