We've lived here 20 years and have already replaced the roof four times from storm damage.

Even though there was a ton of hail, the stones themselves were pretty small. My truck was outside in the driveway and didn't get hurt. We did have the mesh ripped out of a bunch if window screens though, and I've got a roof guy coming to see if that's damaged.

Quiet around here since the meetup!
Took my grandson down to Topeka yesterday for the drag races. I could watch those Top Fuel guys run all day long. Damn! Think you have loud pipes on your bike? You do not have loud pipes on your bike.
NHRA does it right, with the pits right out in the open. Having a seven year old with you is the way to go. More than once, we were invited past the ropes. Got up close and personal with this really cool old guy who was changing out the valve springs on a motor. I'm explaining to Sunnie what he is doing and the next thing I know the guy hands him a spring and the retaining clips and explains how it all goes together. How cool is that?
Great day.

Went to the garage to check on my bike. It seems like it has been forever since I rode it or even started it. I had some new gas caps in box, so I decided to put them since they were just sitting there collecting dust forever.
I figured what the hell, might as well try to start it. Battery is probably dead or weak.
Nope.
That lithium ion fired it up on the first crank. I looked at the trip meter. Only 25 miles. That means the tank is full.
The sun is out. It's somewhere around 90 degrees.
Checked all the lights. They are LED so they all work. No fluids on the garage floor. Paperwork in the saddle bag along with my rain suit and gloves. License plate is current.
Gave it a few revs. My heart races.
Why did I park it for months?
Let's ride!

A Brit with a sun tan? Is there anything Evos can't do?!?
Was noodling on things last night as I put the EG back together and it occurred to me that one of the things I like about it is that there isn't a single part on her that shows any evidence that the MoCo cared at all about weight. Quite the opposite, really. Stuff everywhere is overbuilt and overweight and just plain lovely.
Didn't stop the trunk mount from breaking, though...
