Well that bike has sold, so is anyone going to confess?! It will be a great opportunity to install one of FM's latest 117" or 126" engines....

It's not in my shop. That was a great deal. It had only 7000 miles and was very nice. I also was found of the 103" also.

Some kind of day here.

Supposed to get some snow later on. Makes me feel good to remember that pitchers and catchers report for spring training 90 days from today.

The Big Red refresh project has me longing for spring early.

Spring?! Good grief, not yet PLEASE! All three of our Wisconsin Wonders are either in work or have some planned, before any of them is fit to ride for next season.

Our Sporty has cracked it's balance pipe right through, which involves dismantling the entire bike, it seems! Nothing is accessible, without first removing a part you can't get at! I may have to read the darned manual, which is a depressing prospect.....

I'm in such a holding pattern here. There are a few minor tasks I could do now, but for the most part I'm waiting for stuff to get back from the painter and parts to arrive.

Want to get this thing buttoned up!!

Really wretched isn't it - case of last resort. There's a large bracket attached to the engine, holding the balance pipe, which doubles as the mounting for the two staggered mufflers. You have to take the sprocket cover off the trans, to get at the mounting screws, but can't get the cover clear because the exhaust system is in the way, so I still can't get at the screws. Darned book had better have a jolly good story to tell......

The best part is that I bought a pair of near new mufflers with balance pipe, which are still assembled as if they were taken off the bike in one piece. Something don't add up! More when I get the puzzle solved.

Read the manual? Bah humbug......
