Right? People fail to realize somtimes that its a fashion show when riding.
All kidding aside. I was just looking for some tips, or tricks, from some of you seasoned riders on what you like to wear on long rides when its hot out. These last few summers all i have worn is boots, jeans, t shirt, leather vest, and sunglasses. As my trips get longer, especially last year, i find my self overheating and worn out when we get to where we are going.
So this year my wife and i got helmets and i got some gloves to make thing more comfortable.

Pal of mine toured the Grand Canyon etc with a UK-based Harley hire company a couple of years ago. They recommended and supplied a US-made waistcoat (you chaps may know them as vests, but as everyone knows, ya wear a vest UNDER ya shirt!) which you can run under a cold tap then wear. It holds the water which slowly evaporates, to keep you cool. Repeat as required!

These Evo folks have a sense of humor. Something this world is sadly lacking in.
Stick around and enjoy.

What I wouldn't give to take a ride in the UK on a Harley. I seen the video done by. Dennis Gage, "Tripp'n on Two Wheels" when they did a ride across the big pond.
My real dream is to ride in New Zealand. Maybe Spanners can give me a tour one day.
Doesn't cost a nickel to dream but, one day............
