Would you believe we passed less than 40 miles away from that brewery in May? May even have had one of their beers where we stopped. Bitte ein Kaltenberg!

Last calls for strawberry sponge cake.

It's a fine beer. I just discovered it myself. I like that it's the color of Ken's CVO. That gunstock color.....
Goes great with a little garlic salami and pickles on crackers. (the beer, not Ken's bike)

I'll take a large piece, please.

Still motorcycles on the road way up here on the Wet Coast.
Not mine though. She's at home with the missus.

"Home with the Missus" is probably the best place for poor Carlotta to BE with all that wet weather up where you are, Dale!

That's the problem, Ken, it has not been raining as much as they said it would be. Yes, it rains every day and sometimes hard.
But 2 minutes after it stops the roads are dry. And today was a rare day off. DOH!

New pic of Buster, I see. Nice tour pack, and very nice seat!

Thanks, Dale! After the wide-throated, thigh-numbing Corbin that was on Bertha when we got her (later replaced by the luxurious "La-Z-Boy" Mustang Regal on her now!) I never thought I would like a Corbin... but THIS one is amazing. I've now taken THREE all-day trips on it, and I haven't had to do as much as a minor readjustment YET. I LOVE this Corbin!

Buster in motion - quite a sight. Obviously a serious business, judging by the look on your face Ken!

3,000 posts up on P&Q! Time to break out the champagne......

WHOO-HOO!!!

And by some mysterious extraterrestrial intervention... look who got the 3000th post!
I couldn't have done that if I had tried to... someone would have snuck in and snatched it away!

Yeah - I always take these North Georgia Mountain twisties seriously... helps with that whole "Stayin' Alive" thing!
Man, the bike looks a LOT BIGGER in that pic than it does in real life! I look like a KID on it!
Sure doesn't feel that big... handles great, and is super sensitive to even the smallest inputs!

That pic was taken by an outfit called SQUIDfoto.
They sit on the side of the mountain roads and snap pics of cars and bikes going by on GA 129, then post them on their site each day and sell them.
That photo was taken near Blood Mountain on one of the curves. It isn't that great - kind of not focused very well.
But it's the only photo I have of me riding Buster like that... so I paid my $8 to download a hi-res version, then cropped it to fit into a sig pic!

3000+ posts and we're still all getting along?

Some threads don't last 3 posts before there's a brouhaha http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brouhaha
