Could it be the Inca's and Mayan's knew you would do this????? Repent before it's too late. LOL
John, I don't even know how to reply... except "you may be right"...

But it's NGB who has the Dark Side... she works for an insurance adjusting outsourcing company... so when bad weather hits and lots of damage gets done... THEY MAKE MONEY! They actually watch the hurricanes, hoping they'll hit the mainland so they can go adjust claims... I'm probably going to Hell for even being MARRIED to her.

St. Peter will look in his book and say, "Let's see here.... Yes... Yes... OHHH! It says here that you were MARRIED to NGB! Oh Dear Boss. This is not good... not good at all... Ummm... please go to the end of the hall and take the last door on the left, then down the stairs. It's rather WARM down there - rather like a twinkie running across Nevada in July... but I'm sure you'll do fine... being originally from TEXAS and all... Well, off you go!"

The EVO purred along fine, through some very nice twisty roads.
Gotta love the Indian Summer in BC.
WOW, Dale! Impressive numbers. Glad Carlotta ran fine the whole way... why wouldn't she? She IS an Evo!

No cameras were on the trip, but here is a map.
http://www.mapquest.ca/?version=1.0&hk=8-VLD7DRSf
and if you come up to ride it, I'll even take you all to the Log Cabin Pub in the middle of nowhere, Spences Bridge. (They have the sweetest Panhead on their stage)

Hwy 8, between Merritt and Spences Bridge is about 40 miles long, approx 1/2 mile of which is not curvey.
A helmet cam would be cool.....

This is "THE MONSTER THREAD" many people just stop in to catch the latest chatter. So here goes, the "hurricane ride" fizzled, first we had rain so hard you couldn't see 100 feet, then the rain basically stopped and we had 35+ MPH winds. So we sat around thye shop wating for reasonable wind and rain together. We did manage to go over everybodies bikes and get some good maintenance do, it's amazing how much work twelve guys can do in a decent shop!! Right now we are all coming up with ideas for the next craxy event. I think it's gonna have long hours in the saddle involved in it. My vote is for a run to New Orleans, I love that place!!

12 guys sitting around in a shop on a rainy day, tinkering on bikes. Not such a bad thing.
That's how ideas are born!

Graham, I'll take some of your fresh brew, black and hot, please.
